What’s changed at Trident because of COVID-19
So much has changed so rapidly over the past few weeks. Just like a growing number of workers in Australia, many of us here at Trident are now working from home, to reduce the risk of infection and hopefully, take some pressure of our health care system.
Most importantly, we hope you are all doing okay, and giving yourselves the compassion and space to adjust to these strange times. For now, this is just a brief update, to let you know what we’re doing in the wake of COVID-19, and to say we’re thinking of you during these tough times.
Business as usual. Sort of.
As of this week approximately half of our team began working from home. Since our systems are safely online, our efficiency, when assessing and processing claims, or providing quotes and general support won’t be impacted.
All of our employees working remotely are still available on their direct lines, so you won’t notice any interruption in our regular service. (Besides the fact we may secretly be wearing pyjamas.)
For those of us still in the office, we have strict social distancing measures in place to ensure the safety of our employees, as well as hand sanitisers and cleaning procedures to minimise the risk of infection.
We have also moved away from face-to-face meetings; however you can still contact as via the phone or on email, if you’d like speak with us. We also have contact forms on our website, if you’d like to make an enquiry or secure a quote from one of our marine underwriters.
Stay safe out there.
Normally we end our blogs by asking you to stay safe on the water. This time, we’re asking you to take care of yourselves and your families. The situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve rapidly and the impact on businesses, individuals and our communities has been immense.
One thing we do know is that Australians are amazingly resilient people (especially boat lovers!), and even though we don’t know exactly how the situation will play out, we will take one brave step at a time and continue to look out for one another.
